Send feedback from the app

Click the MeetingVault icon in your menu bar, open Settings, and scroll to Feedback. Type what happened and click Send. It goes straight to us, no email app needed. Every report includes the app version and macOS version. Include diagnostics, on by default, adds technical logs, never your meeting content.

Report an issue by email

Right-click (or Option-click) the MeetingVault icon in your menu bar and choose Report an Issue…. It drafts an email to us with your app version, macOS version and Mac model filled in, and attaches recent app logs or shows the log file in Finder so you can attach it.

Common questions

What Mac do I need?
MeetingVault requires macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later and an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or later). Those are hard requirements: transcription uses Apple's on-device speech models, which need macOS 26, and the app is built natively for Apple silicon. Intel Macs can't run it.
Where are my notes stored?
On your Mac, in a local database at ~/Library/Application Support/MeetingVault/meetingvault.db. Audio is deleted automatically after transcription. There is no server-side copy.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Export to Markdown, JSON, SRT subtitles, or straight into Obsidian with proper frontmatter.
Does it work without Wi-Fi?
Yes, after initial setup. Apple's on-device speech model downloads once on first launch. After that, transcribe, search and export all work offline.
