Your download is starting

Welcome to MeetingVault.

Zero cloud, so setup happens on your Mac, not in an account screen. While the download lands, here is your first 5 minutes.

1

Install it

Open the downloaded file and drag MeetingVault into Applications, then open it. It is signed and notarized by Apple, so your Mac trusts it out of the box. Look for it in your menu bar, not your Dock. On first launch, Apple's on-device speech model downloads once. After that, transcription works with no internet connection.

2

Grant permissions

Allow microphone access when macOS asks. When you capture your first meeting, macOS will also ask to allow system audio, which is how the other side of the call gets captured. Everything is processed on your Mac. Nothing you say ever touches a server.

3

Try your first dictation

Click into any text field, hold Option (⌥) + Control (⌃), and talk. Release the keys and your words appear right where your cursor is. Email, Slack, notes, code. Speak is free forever. No card, no trial clock.

4

Take your first meeting note

When a meeting starts, click start in the menu bar. MeetingVault captures your mic and system audio, and reminds you to notify participants before you record. When you stop, it transcribes on your Mac, deletes the audio automatically, and leaves you searchable notes. Listen is free for 14 days.

Requires macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later and an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or later).
